Two dead and others injured after the occupation forces bombed a tent for displaced people in Mawasi al-Qarara in Khan Yunis.

Two citizens were killed and others were injured on Tuesday evening, as a result of Israeli occupation forces' shelling of the Mawasi al-Qarara area, northwest of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, citizens Fathi Abdul Qader Abu Shaar (56 years old) and Yahya Fathi Abu Shaar (33 years old) were killed after the occupation targeted a tent housing displaced people in the Mawasi Al-Qarara area.

In the same context, fires broke out in citizens' homes east of Gaza City as a result of Israeli artillery shelling.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 51,000 civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 116,343 others. This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
